OFBiz Blog
Why and how to use the OFBiz blog function.
Yes, our first company blog integrated on the website. Why we think you need a blog"
1. Blog articles make visitors coming back and remember your company.
2. You can combine the blog with regular twitter messages for announcements.
3. Because of the specific blogs related to your website, your website will rank higher in the search engines.
4. Content and blog can 'talk' to each other: blog encourages updates of website content.
5. With a 'reply' function visitors can react on your blog articles and provide even more interaction.
Is writing a Blog article difficult" We do not think so. Realize that you and the other people in your company are the experts of the companies core business. I am sure every day there are subjects about which you can write about and share the experience with your visitors. This blog is an example of it. We needed a blog and wrote about how we could us OFBiz for that.
OFBiz has namely a built-in function to display Blogs on your website. On the E-commerce demo site you can see the box on the bottom left corner. Blogs articles can be added in two ways in OFBiz, either on the e-commerce site itself or going to the back-end in the content component.
Actually, you are now using this function in our company OFBiz system. Although the blog function is there already a long time, recent updates introduced some errors which we recently fixed here in our company. Because we are committer we can fix these problems straight into the trunk version so you can take advantage of this. Also the presentation we improved. Have a look at the OFBiz demo site, at the bottom left corner to see the OFBiz blog demo there.
This is only one of the many functions the OFBiz e-commerce component has. OFBiz e-commerce is one of the largest implementations an e-commerce front-end can have. Time for you to make to switch to Apache OFBiz e-commerce and enjoy the flexibility and the ERP back-end" Let us know at support@antwebsystems.com how we can help you.
